Dear Reader
Without much ado, if one were asked to think of words that one associates with 'nature', what words would they be? For myself? beauty, nurturer, wild, equal, powerful, grave, uncontrollable, frighteningly attractive and much more . . It. Little wonder that an entire era/generation sang songs of nature and her efficacy.
Here is some famous celebration of nature by poets: Nature is a 'friend, philosopher and guide' (Tintern Abbey) to Wordsworth, she is someone who has the power to 'lift me as a wave, a leaf, a cloud' to Percy Bysshe Shelley (Ode to West Wind); she is the fatal attraction to Robert Frost 'The woods are lovely, dark and deep' (Stopping by woods) of immeasurable joy to Rabindranath Tagore 'The butterflies spread their sails on the sea of light. Lillies and jasmines surge up on the crest of the waves of light'(Gitanjali); to Sarojini Naidu, she is 'Like a joy on the heart of a sorrow, The sunset hangs on a cloud' (The Autumn); Nature is where Henry David Thoreau makes a home (Walden) and Life is metaphorically Bhumigeete (the Song of the Earth ) for Gopala Krishna Adiga . . . it is an endless list and an adventurous exploration in itself.
However, here are some sneak-peak at nature from my mobile/camera. Hope you will share your own perception of nature 😀

It is indeed a joy, bliss and a blessing to be amidst nature; to behold Nature in all colours, and aura. Nothing can match her beauty, her colour--no photograph captures her essence as it is... in fact, the best camera when amidst nature is our eyes. What the eye captures, that which the mind experiences, is beyond all poetry, all photographs. One can never get enough of nature . . . the best moments are those that remain etched in the mind's eye forever. In the words of Shakespeare (Sonnet 81)
'Nature's wonder is beauty to behold
To behold this beauty is worth more than gold
I sincerely hope that we, the present humanity, will do everything and more to preserve wondrous nature for generations to come.
